When God Shows Up: A Divine Reminder to Never Give Up
For the past five months, I’ve been pouring everything into my Christian website. I’ve worked with faith, prayer, and purpose—sometimes unsure if anyone would see the fruit of my labor. To be honest, it’s been a challenging season. Unemployed, facing uncertainties, and still waking up daily to build something I believe God called me to do.
Today, A young girl—maybe 12 years old and a little boy about 5years—walked straight up to my house. I’ve never seen him or her before in this neighborhood. As I sat by my window, I saw this little girl walking straight up to my apartment, I heard the little boy say, "are you just going to walk through the gate?" and she said yes. With boldness and simplicity, she came and knocked on the door, I said, can I help, she came by the window and looked me in the eye and said, “God loves you. Never give up.”
That was it. She didn’t stay to chat. She didn’t explain why she came. She just delivered a message and left.
And in that moment, I felt Heaven breathe.
I was reminded of Galatians 6:9: "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
This encounter wasn’t random. It was a divine interruption—a confirmation that all the effort, all the late nights, all the faith I’ve been sowing is not unseen. It was God’s way of saying, “Keep going. I’m with you.”
God used a child—pure, unfiltered, and fearless—to bring a message I desperately needed. It echoed Matthew 21:16: “Out of the mouths of babes...” A powerful reminder that God can use anyone, at any time, to remind us of His promises.
So, if you’re reading this and feeling like giving up, let my story be your reminder too:
God sees you. God is with you. God will never leave you.
Your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
And sometimes, He’ll even send a 12-year-old messenger to make sure you know that.
